How to Mount a UMD VIDEO ISO ?

Requirements to play UMD Video or Interactive UMD Video
  • UMD DISC Inside Your PSP (For example : DEMO UMD)
  • Minimum CUSTOM FIRMWARE : 3.52m33-4 or higher
  • Need to create a folder inside your ISO folder: 'ISO->VIDEO '
  • Remember to place the UMD Video ISO file inside the VIDEO folder
Please note that if you don't have UMD Disc, you cannot play UMD MOVIES on your PSP.

Check & Set all your settings
M33 Recovery Menu (hold R as you turn on/restart your PSP)
You will see the following menu below:
  • Toggle USB
  • Configuration->
  • Run program at .....
  • Advanced->
  • CPU Speed->
  • Plugins->
  • Registry hacks->
  • Exit

Main menu :Select Configuration-> and Press 'x' to enter
(Press 'x' to change selection)
  1. UMD Mode : Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-
  2. Fake region : Disabled
  3. Free UMD Region : Enabled
  4. Use VshMenu : Enabled
Select Back
Next,

Main menu : Select Advanced-> , Select Advanced Configuration-> (Press 'x' to enter)
(Press 'x' to change selection)
  1. Plain modules in UMD/ISO : Disabled
  2. Execute BOOT.BIN in UMD/ISO : Disabled
Select Back x2 time
Next,

Main menu Select CPU Speed->and Press 'x' to enter
(Press 'x' to change selection)
  1. Speed in XMB : 333
  2. Speed in UMD/ISO : 333
Select Back & Select Exit
Next,

Go to M33 VSH MENU

For (3.71m33 or higher) : Press ' SELECT ' in main menu of PSP to access VSH MENU
For (3.52m33-4) : Press ' HOME ' in main menu of PSP to access VSH MENU



Check & Set all your settings
  1. CPU CLOCK XMB : 333/166
  2. CPU CLOCK GAME : 333/166
  3. UMD ISO MODE : Sony NP9660
  4. ISO VIDEO MOUNT : press <> to select the ISO Game to mount
Next,

To exit M33 VSH MENU
Select EXIT Press 'x'
OR
Press 'Select' to exit


At the PSP main page, go to 'Video' to run your mounted UMD video

  1. Hi, thanks for the step by step guide. Need more help please ... I have PSP slim V 5.00, after checking all configuration but still cant mount the video, in the SELECT menu, there are no other option beside NONE one the ISO VIDEO MOUNT... what have I done wrong?
